Privacy Policy

Account details you provide: full name, email address, phone number and password. We never store your password in readable form.

Transaction details: the network, bundle, biller or airtime amount you purchase, the beneficiary phone or meter number, and the payment reference returned by our payment partner.

Device and diagnostic data: app version, device model, operating system version, crash logs and approximate region derived from your IP address. This is used for security and reliability only.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos, SMS messages or call logs.

To create and secure your account, deliver the data, airtime or bill payment you requested, send transaction receipts and service notices, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and regulatory obligations in Nigeria.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by licensed payment processors. ShamXeers Data Plug does not store full card numbers, CVVs or bank credentials on its servers.

We share only what is required with telecom operators and biller platforms to fulfil a transaction, with payment processors to complete a payment, and with regulators or law enforcement when legally compelled. Service providers act on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Passwords are hashed. Access to production data is restricted to authorised staff.

Account data is kept while your account is active. Transaction records are retained for up to seven years where financial regulations require it, after which they are deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time on our account deletion page or by emailing support@shamxeers.com. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

You can access, correct or export your personal data, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, and request deletion. Contact support@shamxeers.com and we will respond within 30 days.

ShamXeers Data Plug is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page with a new effective date.
